The program includes two clinical placements:

 

  1. Facility Placement — providing care in a healthcare or long-term care environment.

  2. Community Placement — delivering support and assistance in clients’ homes or community settings.

Together, these practicums last 3.5 months, allowing you to apply your knowledge in real-world scenarios and build professional experience. Placement coordination is fully managed for you.

Final Exam and Requirements:

​

To successfully graduate, students must:

 

  • Pass the final government-approved examination (conducted in person).

  • Provide proof of English proficiency (for international applicants).

  • Hold valid CPR and First Aid certification.
